Why Your Customers Don’t Want To Hear Your Story
October 16, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm MST
Free
The CO+HOOTS Foundation presents Why Your Customers Don’t Want To Hear Your Story – and how to do marketing better– the third session in our four-week Midweek MindTweak Marketing Workshop. (Did you miss the first session in the series? No worries! You’re still welcome to attend this week.)
Let’s face it. Marketing can feel complicated. Should you be dropping social media ads every 10 seconds or ramming free content down your clients feeds? Is it all about direct mail since no one is doing it, or email?
What if it wasn’t the method that was your problem, but the message? Imagine if you could use any method of delivery you wanted and see success because you had a message people wanted to hear, connected with, and responded to! You’ll learn how story is a powerful tool in marketing, but only if you use it the right way. Learn how to use story the right way in your marketing so you can do marketing better no matter what platform you use.
About the Presenter
Eric Upton grew up in a small business home which means he understands the struggle business owners face trying to create great marketing that works! He’s been married since 2009, is the father of 3 kids, and currently lives in the west valley.
For 13 years, Eric used story to inspire, teach, and motivate Jr. High students to achieve more in their lives. Now, as a StoryBrand Certified Guide, he’s using his ability to craft stories and his personal business experience to help entrepreneurs do marketing better.
Eric is helping business leaders succeed by avoiding the biggest mistake in marketing – a confusing message that doesn’t connect to their customer’s story.
Too many business owners are flushing thousands of dollars down the crapper with marketing messages that, well…belong in the crapper!
Regardless of what industry you’re in, if you use words to sell your products or services, you need to make sure your message is clear and works (i.e. makes you money!).
Eric also loves football, fitness, his family, and dogs, but let’s be real…no one really cares what Eric is into, as long as he can actually help you do marketing better – which he can. But, just in case you needed to know he likes dogs…the answer is yes!
